DTC P06B8:00 (FS5A-EL) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P06B8:00 NVRAM malfunction
DETECTION CONDITION
  • The TCM detects NVRAM error.

    Diagnostic support note:

  • The check engine light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • The automatic transaxle warning light illuminates.
  • PENDING CODE is available.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
  • The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION -
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • NVRAM in TCM malfunction
