Sliding Door Module Panel Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Fully open the sliding door glass.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the following parts:
    1. Side door garnish (See SIDE DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear side trim (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Sliding door trim (See SLIDING DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Sliding door quarter glass (See SLIDING DOOR QUARTER GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Sliding door glass (See SLIDING DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Power window motor (See POWER WINDOW MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Sliding door inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Remote controller (See REMOTE CONTROLLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the bolts, then remove the constant power supply wiring harness protector.

  5. Remove the clips securing the sliding door wiring harness from the sliding door module panel.
  6. Remove the fastener.

  7. Remove the bolts.
  8. Remove the sliding door module panel.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See CONSTANT POWER SUPPLY WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR REMOVAL NOTE .)
