DTC B00A0 1C: Seat Weight Sensor Control Module Circuit Open To Power Supply: Notes

DTC B00A0 1C - DETECTION CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)

System malfunction location 
  • Seat weight sensor control module circuit open to power supply 
Detection condition 
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • Malfunction in seat weight sensor control module circuit.
Fail-safe function  Not applicable
Possible cause 
  • SRS2/ESCL 15A fuse malfunction
  • Seat weight sensor control module connector malfunction
  • Short circuit to power supply or body ground in the wiring harness between fuse block and seat weight sensor control module
  • Open circuit in the wiring harness between fuse block and seat weight sensor control module
  • Seat weight sensor control module malfunction
