Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (AS-BUILT DATA USE) Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	INSPECT CURTAIN AIR BAG MODULE Verify that the driver or passenger-side curtain air bag module is correctly installed. Is the driver or passenger-side curtain air bag module correctly installed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Correctly install the driver or passenger-side curtain air bag module. Then go to the next step.
3	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
