DTC B00A0:81/B00A0:87/B00A0:8F DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location 
  • B00A0:81:Invalid signal to SAS control module 
  • B00A0:87:Error signal from seat weight sensor control module 
  • B00A0:8F:Seat weight sensor communication error 
Detection condition 
WARNING:
  • Detection conditions are for understanding the DTC outline before performing an inspection. Performing an inspection according to only the detection conditions may cause injury due to an operating error, or damage the system. When performing an inspection, always follow the inspection procedure.
  • Error signal is detected between SAS control module and seat weight sensor control module
Fail-safe  Not applicable
Possible cause 
  • Seat weight sensor connector malfunction
  • Short circuit to power supply or body ground in the wiring harness between the SAS control module and seat weight sensor control module
  • Open circuit in the wiring harness between the SAS control module and seat weight sensor control module
  • Seat weight sensor control module malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
