DTC C1031:41 (DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL) - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	INITIALIZE A TPMS MEMORY Switch the ignition to off. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to DLC-2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the IDS. Select "Chassis". Select "ABS/DSC". Select "TPMS Reset". Perform the procedure according to the directions on the screen. Is the initialization normally completed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step. (See DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2	VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT Clear the DTCs from the memory. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step. (See DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
