DTC C1031-54: Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) System: Notes

DTC C103141 DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

DTC  C1031:54  Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) system 
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • Detects that tire such as temporary spare tire with outer diameter of considerable difference is installed
  • There is a large fluctuation in steering angle and acceleration/deceleration speed repeatedly over short intervals.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
  • Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates after flashes.
  • Inhibits the TPMS control.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Diameter of currently installed tires differs from Mazda recommended tires
  • There is a large fluctuation in steering angle and acceleration/deceleration speed repeatedly over short intervals.
  • DSC HU/CM malfunction
