Resistance Inspection

NOTE:

Because the IAT sensor is integrated in the MAF sensor, replacing the IAT sensor includes replacement of the MAF/IAT sensor.

Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5] .)
Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5] .)
Disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor connector.

Measure the resistance between MAF/IAT sensor terminals D and E.

If not as specified, replace the MAF/IAT sensor. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
