Heated outer mirror

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the inner garnish. (See INNER GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the front door trim. (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the power outer mirror. (See POWER OUTER MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table using a circuit tester.

- If not as indicated in the table, or if the resistance is not within the specification, replace the power outer mirror.
