Liftgate Glass Latch Removal/Installation

NOTE:

• Make sure the liftgate glass is in the raised position.

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. See LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
2. Disconnect the liftgate glass latch ajar switch electrical connector.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the liftgate glass latch.
   • To install, tighten to 12 N.m {1.2 kgf.m, 106 in.lbf}.
   NOTE:

   • Mark the position of the liftgate glass latch prior to removing the liftgate glass latch bolts.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   NOTE:

   • The liftgate glass latch must be checked to make sure the latch is installed and aligned correctly.
