DTC B1B87:13 [Position Memory Control System]: Notes

DTC B1B87:13 CHART (POSITION MEMORY CONTROL SYSTEM)

DTC B1B87:13 Rear tilt motor speed/position sensor communication fault
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • Position memory control module reads signal stop from position sensor 4 times when rear tilt motor energization current is normal
  • Position memory control module reads that rear tilt motor energization current is at 1 A or less 4 times when motor is operating
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Rear tilt motor connector malfunction
  • Position sensor and motor malfunction
  • Position memory control module connector malfunction
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Rear tilt motor terminal A-Position memory control module terminal 4N
    • Rear tilt motor terminal C-Position memory control module terminal 4M
    • Rear tilt motor terminal D-Position memory control module terminal 4E
    • Rear tilt motor terminal E-Position memory control module terminal 4F
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Position memory control module terminal 4N-body GND
    • Position memory control module terminal 4M-body GND
    • Position memory control module terminal 4E-body GND
    • Position memory control module terminal 4P-body GND
  • Position memory control module malfunction
