DTC DETECTING CONDITION REFERENCE CHART

DTC P2105:00 Throttle valve actuator control system-forced engine shutdown
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The throttle valve actuator control system is in the failure mode effects management mode.

    Diagnostic support note 

  • This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
  • The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot is available.
  • The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Obvious damaged throttle body and/or PCM
  • Throttle valve actuator control module internal processor malfunction
  • PCM malfunction
