Neutral Switch Removal/Installation

Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the battery component, (ex: battery, battery tray and PCM component). (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
Remove the aerodynamic under cover No. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Drain the oil from the transaxle. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT ).
Disconnect the neutral switch connector and remove the neutral switch.
Install the neutral switch (with a new gasket) to the transaxle case.
Tightening torque

20-29 N.m {2.1-2.9 kgf.m, 15-21 ft.lbf}

Install the battery component, (ex: battery, battery tray and PCM component). (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
Install the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
Add the specified amount and type of oil. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT ).
Install the aerodynamic under cover No. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
