Continuity Inspection

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC] ).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC] ).
  3. Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.
  4. Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals A-E.
    • If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
