DTC P2105:00: Notes

DTC P2105:00 (L3 WITH TC) DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC P2105:00 Throttle valve actuator control system-forced engine shutdown
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The throttle valve actuator control system is in the failure mode effects management mode.

Diagnostic support note 
  • This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
  • The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
  • The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Damaged throttle body and/or PCM
  • Throttle valve actuator control module internal processor malfunction
  • PCM malfunction
