DTC P144A:00: Notes

DTC P144A:00 (L3 WITH TC) DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC P144A:00 EVAP system purge vapor line restricted/blocked
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The DTC P144A:00 indicates that the DTC P144A:00 blocked line diagnostic is designed to detect a full blockage in the vapor lines between fuel tank pressure sensor and fuel tank.

Diagnostic support note 
  • This is an intermittent monitor (EVAP system).
  • The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in two consecutive drive cycles or in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
  • PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
  • The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Blockage(s) between fuel tank pressure sensor and fuel tank
  • PCM malfunction
