DTC P0113:00: Notes

DTC P0113:00 (L3 WITH TC) DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC P0113:00 IAT sensor circuit high input
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The PCM monitors the IAT sensor signal. If the PCM detected the IAT sensor voltage is above 4.9 V  for 5 s,  the PCM determines that the IAT sensor circuit has a malfunction.

Diagnostic support note 
  • This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
  • The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
  • The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • MAF/IAT sensor connector or terminals malfunction
  • IAT sensor malfunction
  • PCM connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between MAF/IAT sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 1M
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • MAF/IAT sensor terminal D-PCM terminal 1M
    • MAF/IAT sensor terminal E-PCM terminal 1AR
  • PCM malfunction
