Continuity Inspection

  1. Verify that the CPP switch is installed properly.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Disconnect CPP switch connector. (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Inspect for continuity between the CPP switch terminals using an ohmmeter.
    • If not as specified, replace the CPP switch. (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

      SPECIFICATION

      Measured condition Clutch pedal position Continuity
      Rod pushed Clutch pedal released Continuity detected
      Except above Clutch pedal depressed No continuity
