Continuity Inspection

  1. Verify that the CPP switch is installed correctly.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Disconnect the CPP switch connector.
  4. Verify that the continuity between CPP switch terminals A and B is as indicated in the table.
    • If there is no malfunction, perform the "Circuit Open/Short Inspection".
    • If there is any malfunction, replace the CPP switch.

MEASURED CONDITION AND CONTINUITY REFERENCE

Measurement condition Clutch pedal position Continuity
Push the rod. Clutch pedal depressed Continuity detected
Except above Clutch pedal released No continuity
