SECURITY LIGHT 15, DTC B1601/P1260 DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

SECURITY LIGHT: 15  The instrument cluster has detected unregistered key ID number.
DTC:  B1601/P1260  
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • The instrument cluster has detected unregistered key ID number.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • No keys have been registered after replacing the instrument cluster.
  • Unregistered key used
  • Attempt made to register a ninth key
  • Instrument cluster malfunction
