Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve - 2.3L Removal/Installation

2	Upper snow shield-to-intake manifold pin-type retainer

4	Lower snow shield-to-intake manifold screws (2 required)
5	Lower snow shield
6	Idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector
7	IAC valve bolts (2 required)
8	IAC valve
9	IAC valve gasket

1. Remove the 3 screws, the pin-type retainer and the upper and lower snow shield.
   • To install, tighten to 10 N.m {1.0 kgf.m, 89 in.lbf}.
2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the IAC valve.
   • To install, tighten to 10 N.m {1.0 kgf.m, 89 in.lbf}.
   • Inspect the gasket and install new as necessary.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
