Heater Control Unit Removal / Installation

1. 1. Remove the audio unit. See AUDIO UNIT .
2. 2. Remove the screws. Disengage the spring clips. Detach the instrument panel finish panel.

3. 3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

   NOTE:

   • The number and location of the electrical connectors will vary dependent on vehicle equipment.
4. 5. Remove the screws and the climate control assembly.

5. 6. Disconnect the climate control assembly.
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
   • Disconnect the vacuum harness connector.
   NOTE:

   • If installing a new climate control assembly, the function selector switch and the blower motor switch must be transferred from the old unit. See HEATER CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL / INSTALLATION  .
6. 7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
