DTC P0223 (LF, L3) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No. 2 circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the input voltage from TP sensor No. 2 when the engine is running. If the input voltage is above 4.9 V , 4.85 V
, the PCM determines that the TP sensor No. 2 circuit input voltage is high.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL, 2I
- Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal D and PCM terminal 2AP, 2O
- PCM malfunction
