DTC P0222 (LF, L3) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No. 2 circuit low input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the input voltage from TP sensor No. 2 when the engine is running. If the input voltage is below 0.1 V , 0.2 V
, the PCM determines that the TP sensor No. 2 circuit input voltage is low.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- TP sensor No. 2 malfunction
- Connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO, 2K
- Short to ground in wiring harness between throttle body terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO 2K
- Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL, 2I
- Short to ground in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL, 2I PCM malfunction
