DTC P0123 (LF, L3) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

TP sensor No. 1 circuit high input |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- If the PCM detects the TP sensor voltage is above 4.9 V , 4.85 V
while the engine is running, the PCM determines that the TP circuit has malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in first drive cycles.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.

- TP sensor malfunction Connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 2AP, 2O
- Short to constant voltage supply circuit in wiring harness between TP sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2M
- PCM malfunction
