DTC P2229: Notes

DTC P2229 [L3 WITH TC] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P2229 BARO sensor circuit high input
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • PCM monitors the input voltage from the BARO sensor. If the input voltage at the PCM is above 4.45 V  , the PCM determines that the BARO sensor circuit has a malfunction.

Diagnostic support note 
  • This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
  • MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
  • DTCs are stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • BARO sensor malfunction PCM malfunction
  • Diagnostic procedure
