Pinpoint Test 1: No Communication With The Module - Anti-Lock Brake Control Module
CAUTION:
- Use the flex probe kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.

| 1 | CHECK CIRCUIT (LB) AND CIRCUIT (R) FOR AN OPEN Key OFF. Disconnect the ABS Module 0413-101. Key ON, Engine OFF (KOEO). Measure the voltage between the ABS module 0413-101 pin 4, circuit (LB), harness side and ground; and between the ABS module 0413-101 pin 32, circuit (R), harness side and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? |
Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test. | ||
| 2 | CHECK CIRCUIT (B) FOR AN OPEN Key OFF. Measure the resistance between the ABS module 0413-101 pin 16, circuit (B) harness side and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? |
Yes | CHECK the module communications network. See COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . |
| No | REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test. | ||
