Cruise Control Actuator Cable Adjustment

  1. Remove retaining clip from cable at accelerator cable bracket.
    NOTE:
    • For proper operation, the actuator cable must not be pulled taut.

      The throttle body cam will automatically spring set to the closed position. The throttle body cam must be in the closed position.

  2. Pull on actuator cable to take up any slack. Back off the actuator cable at least one notch.
  3. While holding cable, insert retaining clip and snap to secure.
