- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect cruise control servo harness connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If cruise control indicator illuminates, go to next step. If cruise control indicator does not illuminate, replace cruise control servo and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect instrument cluster 16-pin harness connector C-214 (located behind instrument cluster). Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 1 (Orange/Light Blue wire) at cruise control servo harness connector. See Figure . If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Orange/Light Blue wire between instrument cluster and cruise control servo. After repair, perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
