Using Ohmmeter

Check volume airflow sensor for cracks or damage. Ensure measuring core opens smoothly. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between specified terminals while moving measuring core inward and outward. Refer to the VOLUME AIRFLOW SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. Also, see Figure . If resistance is not as specified, replace volume airflow sensor.
