Check C1, C2 & C3 At Coil Pack (Cranking)

Turn key off. Reconnect harness at coil pack. Set DVOM on 20-volt AC scale. While cranking engine, backprobe between coil terminals No. 1, 2 and 3, and chassis ground. See Figure . If any voltage reading while cranking is NOT 0.2-1.0 volt, go to CHECKING ICM CONTROL. If all voltage readings while cranking are 0.2-1.0 volt, go to CHECKING COIL PACK.
