Split Air Solenoid Valve (A/T Non-Turbo)

  1. Connect voltmeter at Blue/Black wire terminal and ground of solenoid valve.
  2. Place gearshift in Drive. Remove oil pressure switch connector on side of transmission. Install jumper wire between connector and ground. See Fig 1 .
  3. Turn ignition on and note voltage. Voltage should be less than 2.5 volts with jumper wire installed or approximately 12 volts with jumper wire removed.
