Draining & Refilling

  1. Remove oil pan bolts and drain fluid. Discard gasket. If oil strainer is removed for cleaning, tighten retaining bolts to 26-35 INCH lbs. (3-4 N.m).
  2. Clean oil pan and install with new gasket. Tighten oil pan bolts to 43-61 INCH lbs. (5-7 N.m). Add fluid and check fluid level. Do not overfill transmission.
