The cruise control operation on all 1990 models (except MPV) and 1989 RX7s has been changed. Please see the description of changes listed below

The Cruise Main Switch has been changed to a momentary contact type. The switch must be activated manually, and will always be OFF after the key is cycled.
The SET function cannot be activated until approximately 2 seconds after the Cruise Main Switch has been engaged.
The RESUME function will not work if the vehicle speed falls below 25mph (40kph), even though the Cruise Main Switch remains ON.
The cruise control system now has self-diagnosis capabilities. The ACC checker (49 9200 010) is no longer needed.
