Air/Fuel Solenoid Valve
Warm engine to operating temperature and allow to idle. Connect dwell meter to White check connector, pin No. 1. See Figure . Verify dwell meter reads within 20-70 degree range. Jumper White check connector pin No. 1 to ground. If engine speed does not decrease, clean air/fuel solenoid valve or carburetor. Replace solenoid if necessary.
NOTE:
Do not submerge air/fuel solenoid valve in cleaner. Spray with carburetor cleaner and blow with compressed air. Air/fuel solenoid is not available separately. Replace as an assembly with air horn.
