System Inspection

  1. Operate engine to warm temperature. Ensure air temperature is above 113°F (45°C). Shut engine off. Connect voltmeter to pressure regulator control solenoid valve (Blue/Black wire on B2600i & MPV, White/Red on MX-6 and 626, or Brown wire on 323). See Fig 1 .
  2. Start engine and note voltage. Voltage should be below 2 volts for 1-4 minutes after engine is started, then increase to approximately 12 volts after 1-4 minutes.
