Fuel Injectors: Notes

  1. Using stethoscope, listen for normal "clicking" sound at each injector during idle and acceleration.
  2. Start engine and slowly increase engine speed. Using stethoscope, check that operating sound of secondary injectors occurs above 3500 RPM. If clicking sound is not heard, check crank angle sensor resistance, wiring from crank angle sensor to ECU and EGI main fuse.
