Power Steering Pump: Inspection

Clean all parts in solvent. Dry thoroughly with compressed air. Check all parts for wear, burned areas and scores. Check vanes for cracks. Measure clearance between vanes and rotor grooves. Replace vanes and rotor if clearance exceeds .002" (.06 mm).
