EGR Solenoid Valve Inspection

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR solenoid valve. Blow thorough the solenoid valve from port "B". Check that air passes through the solenoid valve and flows from the air filter.
  2. Disconnect the EGR solenoid valve connector and connect 12V and a ground to the terminals of the solenoid valve.
  3. Blow through the solenoid valve from port "B". Check that air passes through the solenoid valve and flows from port "A".
