Pinpoint Test J : DTC U0103: Notes

DTC U0103 

Refer to Module Communications Network for schematic and connector information.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The GSM and TRCM communicate on the High Speed 2 CAN. The PCM is on the High Speed 1 CAN. The GWM information from HS2 CAN to information from HS1 CAN.

NOTE: If a GSM self-test is to be performed, make sure the drivers door is closed and locked.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0103 Lost Communication With Gear Shift Control Module "A" This DTC sets if the PCM lost communication with the GSM.
