Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to Safety Warnings in GENERAL INFORMATION (HYBRID) . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

  2. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Cruise Control Module (CCM) .
  3. Release the CCM grommets from the ball studs and remove the CCM.

    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  4. Remove the active grille shutter. Refer to: Cruise Control Module (CCM) .
  5. Remove the CCM bracket bolts.

    Torque: 20 lb.ft (27 Nm)

  6. Remove the CCM bracket.

    1. Remove the CCM bracket nut.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    2. Remove the CCM bracket bolt.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    3. Slide the CCM bracket out of the front bumper slot.
