Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM): Removal

NOTE:
There are 2 fuel pump driver modules, the fuel pump driver module - lower is located in front of the left rear wheel well and above the air deflector. The fuel pump driver module - upper is located below the left rear seat backrest and can be accessed by going through the luggage compartment.
Fuel Pump Driver Module - Upper
- Remove the cover.
- Remove the insulator.
- Disconnect the fuel pump driver module electrical connector.
- Remove the fuel pump driver module retaining nuts and then remove the fuel pump driver module.
Fuel Pump Driver Module - Lower
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the right rear air deflector retainers, remove the pushpin and then remove the right rear air deflector.
- Disconnect the fuel pump driver module fuel pump driver module electrical connector.
- Remove the fuel pump driver module retaining nuts and then remove the fuel pump driver module.
