Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the coolant outlet connector. Refer to: Coolant Outlet Connector .
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector.

  3. NOTE: Do not reuse the ECT sensor, install a new sensor.

    Remove and discard the ECT sensor.

    Torque: 142 lb.in (16 Nm)
