Pinpoint Test L : DTC U3002:62: Notes

Normal Operation 

When the ignition is turned to the RUN position, the ABS module and the PCM share Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) information over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN). Correct any network communication DTCs prior to diagnosing DTC U3002:62

• DTC U3002:62 (Vehicle Identification Number: Signal Compare Failure) - this DTC sets when the VIN message sent by the PCM over the HS-CAN does not match the VIN stored in the ABS module.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• Module configuration (ABS and PCM)
• ABS module
