Pinpoint Test Y : The Gateway Module (GWM) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The GWM communicates with the scan tool through the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN), Electric Vehicle (EV) High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN), Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) and Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN). The GWM operates as a gateway for communication between the modules on the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN), Electric Vehicle (EV) High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) and Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) networks.

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

Verify BJB fuse 31 (10A) and BCM fuse 73 (5A) are OK.
