Removal and Installation

NOTE: Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module can be damaged if exposed to these charges.
  1. Remove the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). For additional information, refer to HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU)  in this service information.
  2. Remove and discard the 4 screws.
    • To install, tighten the new screws to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
  3. Remove the ABS module.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
