Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information refer to WHEELS AND TIRES article.
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bolt and detach the retainers.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
    4. NOTE: Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can result.
  4. Remove the 2 caliper anchor bolts and position the caliper, pads and anchor plate aside.
    • Support the caliper with mechanic's wire.
    • To install, tighten to 200 Nm (148 lb-ft).
  5. Remove the brake disc.
  6. Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
