Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) Sensor

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
2. Remove the RF fender splash shield.
3. Remove the front Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
4. Disconnect the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the CHT sensor.
   • To install, tighten to 26 Nm (19 lb-ft).
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
