Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Prior to removal of the DSM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once it is installed. Refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  1. Remove the driver seat. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  2. Remove the 2 DSM screws.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and the DSM.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Once the module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
