SYMPTOM CHART

Condition Possible Sources Action
No communication with the front electronic module (FEM)
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuses:
    • 25 (40A).
    • 22 (20A).
  • Central junction box (CJB) Fuse 20 (10A).
  • Front electronic module (FEM).
  • Circuitry.
 REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to continue communication diagnosis.
No communication with the rear electronic module (REM)
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuse 25 (40A).
  • Central junction box (CJB) Fuses: 20 (10A).
  • Rear electronic module (REM).
  • Circuitry.
 REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to continue communication diagnosis.
No communication with the driver door module (DDM)
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuse 25 (40A).
  • Central junction box (CJB) Fuse 7 (5A).
  • Driver door module (DDM).
  • Circuitry.
 REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to continue communication diagnosis.
The mirrors are inoperative
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuse 9 (5A).
  • Circuitry.
  • Exterior mirror control switch.
  • Driver door module (DDM).
 Go To PINPOINT TEST A .
A single mirror is inoperative
  • Exterior mirror control switch.
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuses:
    • 27 (30A).
    • 32 (30A).
  • Central junction box (CJB) Fuse 22 (20A).
  • Switched system power (SSP) relay 1.
  • Switched system power (SSP) relay 2.
  • Front electronic module (FEM).
  • Driver door module (DDM).
  • Exterior mirror motor.
  • Circuitry.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST B .
The auto-dimming mirror does not operate correctly
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuse 22 (20A).
  • Central junction box (CJB) Fuse 12 (5A).
  • Auto-dimming interior mirror.
  • Rear electronic module (REM).
  • Circuitry.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST C .
The memory mirror is inoperative
  • Driver door module (DDM).
  • Front electronic module (FEM).
  • Circuitry.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST D .
The memory mirror is inoperative - memory set switch (Light Emitting Diode) (LED)
  • Driver door module (DDM).
  • Memory set switch.
  • Circuitry.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST E .
The heated exterior mirror(s) does not defrost
  • Battery junction box (BJB) Fuses:
    • 9 (5A).
    • 29 (40A).
  • Exterior mirror(s).
  • Heated rear window relay.
  • Rear electronic module (REM).
  • Circuitry.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST F .
